Who’d have thought?

It’s that time of the semester again.  The time when I get to grade freshman writing exercises.

Only, I had no idea that we were now doing exorcisms in college.  But it must be so.  A student just submitted his “exorcise” for chapter 2.  But I am somewhat confused; after all, I’m not sure what exactly the grading criteria for an exorcism should be….  I mean, you either ditch the demon or you don’t.  Seems to me it’s kinda a pass-fail situation.

I just can’t wait to see this person’s actual writing exercise….
