The semester is almost over. The number of assignments left to be completed is down to single digits. I have 4 more days of “real class” then finals.
Unfortunately, those 4 days are spread over two weeks and finals is the week after. It sure makes 4 days seem like an eternity.
Still, I’ve made it this far. I’m almost there. I can see summer on the horizon. I can feel the warm sun, smell the fresh air, taste the homegrown tomatoes. I can feel the peace and quiet and the lack of deadlines slipping away.
But for now, I have to prepare my oral presentation for Spanish class. And, complete my the Spanish grammar homework. Then, if I get it all done I can treat myself by reading about dark energy. What a strange world when reading about dark energy is a reward for more mundane homework accomplished.
